I haven't located my demo version of it YET, I will re-record it later. In the meantime here are 18 versions for you to listen to so you can get the melody imprinted in your mind. It will help a lot when reading the tab, BTW I've included a SMF file of a simple backing.

ALL located HERE

Hi Basil,
Thanks again for all the different versions of the this great song.

It just dawned on me that I have a mp3 of you playing this song with clapping at the beginning and a vocalist. At the end of the recording someone (probably you) mentions that the next song is" Strangers In The Night". Is that the version that goes with the tab? Thanks

Ron

Hi Ron, That's from the album "Live at the Castaways" Vol. 2. Click Here
But the tab is "Generic" it's just the tab of the correct melody and the various versions I've posted are just so you can get the various ways of phrasing it. The most accurate version would be
http://www.waikiki-islanders.com/assets ... akoora.mp3
Out of all the versions I posted the Jerry Byrd one is rather strange because it seems he forgot to overdub the melody just after the overdub of the harmonics in the second time 'round. Must have been the engineer's fault but I'm surprised that Jerry didn't notice.
